Each year, Hub Australia donates a number of memberships to purpose-driven businesses, supporting them in their goal of improving communities, the environment, industries, and other aspects of our world.

In 2020, Hub Australia is supporting close to 40 businesses across Australia, helping connect them to our communities, business opportunities, and networks.

The Everyone Project

The Everyone Project is building stronger dynamic communities, organisations, and industries by helping organisations with measuring, benchmarking, and improving their own diversity using a simple survey and reporting tool.

Hub Anzac Square

Xceptional

Xceptional is a technology platform that connects people with autism with employers across Australia. Despite often having high intelligence and in-demand skills, people with autism are 10 times more likely to be unemployed.

Gea Environmental Pty Ltd

Gea Environmental is facilitating ecologically sustainable development, ensuring a thriving environment, society, and economy. They work to navigate environmental legislative framework and offer solutions as a consultancy.

Global Shapers Brisbane

The Global Shapers community are a group of volunteers from all walks of life who carry out projects that improve the state of the world, with a focus on projects that increase equity and inclusion, particularly for those experiencing homelessness, and act as a platform to enable meaningful climate action and environmental rehabilitation.

Nice Coffee Co.

Nice Coffee Co. supplies quality coffee beans, providing machines for any organisation and business, and contribute all profits to help provide access to education in Kibera Slum, Kenya.

GenAI

Gen AI is reimagining how youth are being connected to emerging skills and careers, aiming to create an Australia (and a world) where young people, regardless of their postcode, have digital skills to help them obtain fulfilling work in emerging fields.

Vollie

Vollie is an online volunteering marketplace that instantly connects people’s skills with not-for-profit needs, for the purpose of skills-based remote volunteering. They’re advancing volunteering into the digital age and providing skilled professionals with meaningful opportunities to give back.

Cirque du Soil

Cirque du Soil aims to reduce food waste in landfill through a community compost collective initiative. Sharing knowledge of built environments, placemaking, and community engagement to codesign new services and urban composting facilities and regenerate the Melbourne food bowl.

Diverse Community and Social Services (DCSS) Australia

DCSS is a community justice organisation based across Australia, and the only LGBTIQ+, diversity and inclusion focused organisation which delivers a dual-accredited Community Justice Program operating in Victoria (VIC) and New South Wales (NSW).

Eco Styles

Eco Styles is about using fashion style to advocate for sustainability and positive change in fashion and related sectors by educating on how to consume clothing in ethical ways that are better for the environment, and provide social justice for the garment workers who make our clothes.

Econome.co creates online, short-form courses that teach a 21st-century skillset by offering project-based learning experiences that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development goals (UNSDGs) and partnering with organisations in the social impact sector.

HerWit

Shamila Gopalan started HerWit to spotlight and help create more female role models and thought leaders. She works with individual women, teams & corporations to help develop strong female leaders, to advance equality & diversity.

InquiBox

InquiBox designs and delivers educational project boxes for children aged 7-12 years old to help them learn through play.
Every month, they explore a different STEM topic and send 4-5 mini-projects – a combination of games, experiments, and maker projects to bring the magic of learning to the dreamers and innovators of tomorrow.

Jumping Jack

Jumping Jack is an online marketplace for Aussie parents to buy and sell baby, kids, and maternity clothes and accessories with a goal to cut unnecessary textile waste and dependency on cheap fast-fashion items by simplifying the way parents buy and sell.

Adventure.org offers a complete solution for small group fundraising adventures for schools, charities, and businesses, offering a free fundraising platform and partnerships with global adventure brands.

Free to Feed

Free to Feed provide refugees, people seeking asylum, and new migrants with opportunities for employment and paid training to break down barriers to social inclusion, economic integration, and cultural representation.

SarasCare

SarasCare uses technology to rescue, rehabilitate and relocate at-risk girls subject to extreme violence. They are developing a range of technology-led solutions to help fight social injustices affecting women in India and around the world, including a WebApp enabling victims or witnesses of female feticide to report anonymously.

Dovetail Social Enterprises

Dovetail assists grass-root charities to grow their capacity and capabilities, becoming self-sufficient and sustainable, helping them reach sustainable revenue and partnering them with SME’s through the Dovetail Social Impact Program

ChangeUp Aus

ChangeUp uses technology to round up transactions to the next dollar and donate the difference to a charity of your choice, eliminating existing lack of transparency in similar models by providing notifications and building an impact report over the course of your donations. By providing users with a deeper connection with beneficiaries, they hope to expand the charitable market in Australia.

Legally Yours offer access to fixed-fee and value-based pricing legal services Australia wide, with an ‘Uber’ style online platform that guides consumers through to a lawyer match in their Network. They aim to bridge the gap between pro bono and paid legal services by helping people navigate the systems.

Sustainably Aware

Sustainability Aware is a series of educational ebook apps made to inform and engage kids (aged 8 to 12 yrs) about our environment and how our way of life impacts the Earth, helping foster a globally-minded generation.

UPmovement

UPmovement is an online apparel social enterprise that gives 100% of profits to help fund prosthetic limbs in developing and war-torn countries, achieved through partnerships with NGO’s and charities already on the ground in target countries.

Vagari Adventures

Vagari Adventures runs community participation activities and group tours and bonding sessions for people with a disability through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), helping them develop friendships with people who have similar interests.

Voice of Health

Voice of Health has built a platform where people can learn, share, develop strategies, build trust and self-manage their mental health and well-being.
This acts as mental health solution and offers greater convenience, accessibility, affordability, scalability, and support while retaining the human connection.

Huber Social is creating a social impact measurement system with the aim of informing decision making at every level, helping businesses on their journey to accountability and transparency with impact.

MAM mission help equip patients undergoing melanoma treatment with the best chance of survival and recovery by providing assistance with resources and services, and helping advocate for research, education, early detection, and preventative activities.

MoneyGirl aims to help young women take control of their financial situation and enjoy their relationship with money, working to educate and empower women through education, community, and helping create confidence.

Paxy provides high-quality handmade jewellery from a diverse group of women and Indigenous artists in South America, helping them become economically independent. They have also partnered with organisations in Australia and South America to support projects related to social entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.

The Elevate Project

The Elevate Project is engaged with creating community for women (especially in small business) and offering mindset and wellbeing coaching, workshops, and events.

Single Mother Survival Guide

The Single Mother Survival Guide works to inform, support, motivate and inspire single parents to live their best lives, alongside running podcasting workshops.

StartSomeGood

StartSomeGood aim to increase the pace of innovation for social change by building social innovation programs, platforms, and ecosystems. They provide technology, coaching, and support for early-stage social entrepreneurs, helping them find and rally the support they need to start good in the world, including crowdfunding platform StartSomeGood.com.

CardiClub

CardiClub is a tool to support heart health with both cardiac rehabilitation and preventative objectives by facilitating rehab clinical service delivery teams across metropolitan, rural and remote areas. The innovative tool will enable cardiac rehab teams to deliver and manage programs more effectively.
