Hub Southern Cross is located on levels 2 and 3 of the Mail Exchange building at 696 Bourke Street, Melbourne. To help you plan your visit, here’s some information on accessibility at Hub Southern Cross, including parking, lifts, toilet facilities, and moving around the space.
There’s no public parking available within the building. Member parking is available within the basement that are licenced to Hub members and subject to availability, but there are no accessible parking spaces.
There are two entrances available from Bourke Street. The entrance at 672 Bourke Street is the accessible entrance, providing a level path of entry into the building.
There are two lifts provided at each entrance on Bourke Street that provide access to all levels of Hub. Upon entering the building at the accessible entrance at 672 Bourke Street, proceed to the lifts directly in front of you and head to level 2. Exit the lifts on level 2, turn to the right, and press the intercom to alert our clubhouse team. The team will open the door remotely, and you can proceed forward towards the welcome desk.
There’s a unisex accessible sanitary facility located on level 3. There’s also an accessible female sanitary facility on level 2, and ambulant cubicles located in the toilets on levels 2 and 3.
There’s an accessible shower facility located on level 3.
A range of adjustable desks are provided throughout the workspaces on levels 2 and 3. Adjustable desks may be available for offices on request, however they may come with an additional cost. The desks located in the meeting rooms are not adjustable.
All meeting rooms have the capacity for a microphone and speakers.
Hearing loop systems are not available in the space.
All meeting rooms, member areas, and café are fully accessible. The kitchen and tea points are provided with ample circulation space, however, no accessible under bench space is provided.
