We’re thrilled to announce our newest location, “Vernon” at Constitution Place, further cementing our presence in Canberra’s CBD. As Australia’s largest privately owned flexible workspace provider, this marks our second location in the capital, reinforcing our commitment to providing premium flexible workspaces to businesses across Australia.

Constitution Place: For businesses that mean business

Hub Constitution Place is more than just some new desks; it’s a considered and thoughtful workspace experience specifically designed to meet the needs of Canberra’s growing professional community. Located in the heart of the city, this location will offer unparalleled connectivity and convenience. Positioned within the award-winning Constitution Place precinct, our new workspace will be in good company, integrating seamlessly into a location that already hosts leading corporates such as KPMG, King & Wood Mallesons, and NAB, as well as the ACT Government’s headquarters.

“Since entering the Canberra market in 2021, we’ve seen strong demand for our hospitality-led offering,” said John Preece, Chief Operations Officer of Hub Australia. “Partnering with Capital Property Group allows us to expand our presence and deliver exceptional workspaces that combine sustainability, premium amenities, and a community-focused design.”

Impressive facilities that don’t cost the earth

Spanning the entire first floor of Vernon and managing the shared ground floor meeting and events spaces, Hub Constitution Place will cover approximately 1,800 square meters. The space is designed to provide flexibility and superior quality, catering not only to our members but also to tenants of the Constitution Place precinct. From meeting rooms to event spaces and a welcoming business lounge, this workspace will set the standard for flexible working in Canberra.

Scheduled for completion in 2026 and opening in early 2027, the Vernon development incorporates sustainable design. A hybrid timber and concrete structure will make up 15% of the building, while a fully electric design will ensure carbon-neutral operations. The building’s 150kw solar array and targeted 5.5-star NABERS energy rating underline its commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.

Reinforcing our commitment to impact

Beyond the impressive facilities, Hub Constitution Place will play a key role in creating a business community that is geared for growth. Situated on the corner of Vernon Circle and Constitution Avenue, the workspace will boast sweeping views of Lake Burley Griffin and the Parliamentary precinct, creating an inspiring environment for professionals.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Capital Property Group on a development that embodies our shared values of sustainability and innovation,” added Preece. “This partnership enables us to deliver a unique proposition to Canberra’s business community, blending premium flexible spaces with environmentally conscious design.”

A business community structured for growth

Vernon is the final stage of Constitution Place, a 60,000-square-meter precinct designed by renowned architectural firm Bates Smart. The precinct already features a mix of office spaces, dining, retail, and the A by Adina Hotel, creating a dynamic and interconnected commercial precinct. Our presence will further enhance the area, providing businesses with flexibility to scale, the confidence of being backed by Australia’s workspace experts, and access to a seamless, rewarding way to work.

With 19 locations nationwide by 2027, we continue to be the smart decision for businesses who want to connect and grow. Hub Constitution Place represents not just an expansion, but a commitment to creating a community, supporting sustainability, delivering five-star experiences and workspaces in the nation’s capital.
